A different approach

As we travel through life day to day and moment to moment, our bodies perceive information. What we do with that information depends on how well our bodies are at adapting to the environment around us. This adaptability allows us to express life in its fullest expression and relate intimately to the encounters before us. This information our bodies process can come in all different forms such as physical, emotional, or chemical stress. Chiropractic works with the body to unleash these patterns and stressors of life and reconnect with the deep knowing of self once again.

We are honored and thrilled to be a part of this journey and look forward to walking alongside you with encouragement and support. We cannot wait to meet you with open hands and a serving heart!

Dr. Katie Hatten, D.C.

Dr. Katie Hatten is a Michigan native growing up in Kalamazoo a few hours south of Suttons Bay. She spent most of her time playing sports and spending time with family and friends. She loves to connect with nature, reading, and learning new skills; her most recent being sewing.

Through a series of closed doors she found herself faced with a tough decision to move away from family and pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. With the support of her husband Koty and her family she took the plunge and began the program in January 2018.

While the education process was grueling and highly rewarding, the transformation that took place within her soul was much greater. She found herself loving the art and philosophy of what chiropractic is along with the science of it. Spending many hours outside of school in different seminars, service trips, and campus clubs, she’s thankful for the refining process that has led her to this point. She has found beauty and freedom in letting go and surrendering completely to the plans that were much bigger than her own.

Dr. Kate is thrilled to be called back to Michigan and the beautiful Suttons Bay. She is so thankful to share this dream with Koty and can’t wait to serve her community!
